Volunteer Positions
Newsletter Collator
Volunteers gather at the Adult Center on the last Tuesday of each month from 8:30 to 11 a.m. to collate approximately 2,500 newsletters. This is a great way to meet new friends while getting a very important task completed.

Workshop Leaders
Are you a retired professional who is interested in sharing your expertise on a volunteer basis to act as instructors or facilitators at the Longmeadow Adult Center? Do you have an interest in opera, Civil War history, stock market, economics, current events or foreign languages? Is there a special talent or collection you would like to share?

Special Events
Once a month or whenever a special meal is served due to a holiday, volunteers perform kitchen, dining room and/or decoration duties.

Maple Tree Gift Shoppe: Clerk
The Maple Tree Gift Shoppe, located at The Center has 2 shifts each day, Monday through Friday, with morning hours from 9 a.m. to noon and the afternoon from noon to 2:45 p.m. The volunteer will accept donations, price, display and sell items. If you like people and being creative, you will certainly enjoy working in our Gift Shoppe.
