Activities


In this intergenerational class for youth ages 10+ through adult, you will experience the joy of folkloric drumming and singing from West Africa, the Caribbean and around the world. Join Aimee Gelinas in these dynamic, hands on, participatory classes where you will learn instrument technique, how drum and song patterns fit together, fun instrument exercises, songs in many languages, and the opportunity to develop, arrange and perform. The final class will conclude with a winter solstice potluck performance. Traditional instruments will be provided.
