Dear Friends,
Our Board of Directors and staff are pleased to have you participate in the programs and services of the Longmeadow Adult Center. We hope our doors open up new avenues of positive energy that create warmth and friendship – all important ingredients of a caring community.
We have tried to match the desires of our community members with what is offered each day so that many different programs and services can take place comfortably.

Mission Statement
The Longmeadow Adult Center is a community-based center in Longmeadow which affirms the dignity and potential of older people. The Center fosters respect, independence and personal growth for each individual. As a community resource, it provides access to supportive services and programs. Residents are encouraged to make their voices heard and to contribute to the Center and their community.
Board of Directors
The Board is composed of Longmeadow residents who are appointed by the Board of Selectmen. The Board works with residents and staff to address issues and programs that affect seniors.

General Information
Who can participate?
The Adult Center provides services to all Longmeadow residents who are over sixty years of age or are a family member or friend of someone who is over age 60.

The Adult Center is located in Greenwood Park at 231 Maple Road, Longmeadow, MA 01106. Our phone number is 413-565-4150. Transportation call HULMES TRANSPORTATION at 413-739-7436 or 1-866-277-7741.
Center Hours
The Center is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. The Center is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and the following major holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King’s Birthday, Presidents’ Day, Patriot’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day and the following day, Christmas Day.

Listen to your local TV for weather related closings. Please call the Adult Center at 413-565-4150 before leaving home to check whether your class or program will be held.
