Fire suppression, hazardous materials, auto extrication, emergency medical services, ice rescue, river rescue or any other emergency that may occur, these professionals have the resources to handle it. The Longmeadow Firefighters are also very committed to preventing emergencies from occurring. Our Fire Prevention Bureau conducts many inspections of public and privately owned structures every year. Public education programs are conducted in our Schools and for our senior citizens. Our EMS division runs classes on choking and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
