Roadway Debris Concerns

If a street becomes blocked, or partially blocked by debris, please call the non-emergency number for the Longmeadow Police Department at 567-3311 so the DPW can take appropriate steps to clear the street.

POWER RESTORATION INFORMATION

If power has been restored to your street and you still do not have power and do not know why, please call WMECO at 800-286-2000 to report the problem.  WMECO does not go to individual houses unless a problem has been reported.

GROUND EQUIPMENT CAUTION-Reminder

Longmeadow residents are reminded NOT to cover any ground mounted electric transformers, fire hydrants, cable and telephone equipment with brush and debris that is being dragged to the curbside.  If this equipment is covered, please uncover so that the town’s contractor performing debris removal does not damage the equipment.

School Update

Longmeadow schools will be open Monday. Please check the safety of your child’s route to school. Sidewalks may be blocked and downed lines may still be in the area. If there are any concerns please arrange transportation. Longmeadow is instituting snow protocol for Blueberry Hill and Center Schools. There will be one way directional traffic …
