The Longmeadow High School football team won the Central & Western Massachusetts Division 1A Superbowl Championship following up on consecutive Central & Western Massachusetts Division II titles in 1997 and 1998. Congratulations to the entire team and coaching staff on this championship season and their record of consistent achievement.

[Team competes in Division II- Western Mass]

Season Highlights

-Competed 11/7/99 at Shepherd Hill Regional High School at the Fall Invitational and placed 2nd.
-Competed at Naraggansett High School on November 10 and placed 3rd.
-At State Regionals on November 14, they placed 1st (they are the Western Mass Champions, yet again, for the 3rd consecutive season).

At the State Championships on November 21, the Longmeadow High School varsity cheerleaders came in 3rd place. Your cheerleaders are:

  • the 3rd best team in Massachusetts and
  • THE BEST team in Western Massachusetts.
