Our Mission

The mission of the Town Clerk's office is to serve as the official Record Keeper of town records as well as coordinating and overseeing elections and voter registration in compliance with Massachusetts General Laws and local by-laws to assure sound documentation and access of residents to Local Government. The Town Clerk is also responsible for accurately establishing, maintaining and certifying all vital statistics for the Town and collecting and administering licenses, registrations and fines required by Massachusetts General Laws and Town By-Laws.

Town Hall Notices are posted on the Longmeadow Community Bulletin Board and this service is provided for the convenience of Longmeadow residents and does not represent an official posting as required by Massachusetts General Laws.

 

The DEADLINE TO OBTAIN NOMINATION PAPERS for the Annual Town
Election which is scheduled for June 10, 2008 is 5:00 pm on Friday, March 21,
2008. Nomination papers must be filed with the Registrar of Voters by 5:00 pm on Tuesday, March 25, 2008. Interested parties should contact the Town Clerks Office, 20 Williams Street, 413-565-4103

Information on absentee ballots including application forms can be obtained at the Massachusetts Secretary of State website.
