Taxpayer Information
New property assessments are now available online for fiscal 2009 with "Owner of
Record" as of January 1, 2008. Fiscal 2009 began July 1,
2008 and ends on June 30, 2009. The fiscal 2009 tax rate of $17.11
(approved by the Department of Revenue on 12/4/2008) is $0.15
more than last year's rate. The Select Board voted on 11/17/2008
to maintain a single tax rate for all property classes. Taxpayers
may call 565-4115 or visit the Tax Assessors office at Town Hall
on Monday-Thursday between 8:15 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. and Friday
8:15-noon with questions and/or concerns related to assessments,
new tax rate, abatements, etc.
