The Internet (or Information Superhighway) is a global system of computers that allows a user to communicate and transfer files from one computer to any other computer on the network.

The WWW is not the Internet! It is a collection of separate documents called webpages that are linked together.

A browser (either Microsoft's Explorer or Netscape's Navigator) is software that allows the user to view these documents which may include text, images, sound and video.
