Hazardous Waste Disposal Information
NEW HAZARDOUS WASTE PROGRAM TO BEGIN JULY 1ST!
**This program will be replacing Longmeadow's participation in the Annual Hazardous Waste Collection Day in Wilbraham.**
Beginning July 1, 2019, Longmeadow residents can bring the items listed below to New England Disposal Technologies (NEDT) at 190 East Main Street, Westfield. This program is for Longmeadow residents only (proof of residency required), no funding will be extended to businesses dropping material at the center. Each household is granted $50 per year, any remaining balance will be the responsibility of the resident. Residents may bring additional material not covered under this agreement at their own expense. Payment by residents can be made to NEDT in the form of cash or credit card.
**Longmeadow will no longer be participating the Annual Hazardous Waste Collection Day in Wilbraham.**

Mondays and Wednesdays 9am – 4pm, Saturdays: 9am – 1pm

Latex Based Coatings/Sealers/Fillers/Caulks/etc.; Joint Compound, Latex Driveway Sealer, etc. NO Latex Paints
Oil/Solvent Based Paint Coatings/Sealers/Caulks/Fillers/etc.; Solvents and Thinners; Camping Fuel, Kerosene, Lighter Fluid, Gasoline
Household Cleaning Chemicals and Compounds such as: Drain Cleaner; Furniture and Floor Cleaners/Polishes; Spot Remover; Carpet and Upholstry Cleaner; Glues and Adhesives; Lawn & Garden Supplies and Pool Chem- icals such as: Fertilizers; Herbicides; Pesticides; Algaecides; Shock Treat- ment; pH Adjusting Chemicals; Chlorine Tablets; etc. All Aerosol Cans
The following products CANNOT be accepted at the Collection Center:
Waste from Large Quantity or Small Quantity Non Residential Generators
Unidentified Compressed Gas Cylinders
Explosives/Shock Sensitive Materials
