In the modern era, fire prevention services are considered equally, or perhaps more important than fire suppression. In fact, there are far fewer fires today than in the past, a credit to the prevention efforts of the fire service. Inspections
All schools, commercial buildings, and multiple dwellings in Longmeadow are inspected on a regular basis.
