Open Space and Recreation Plan

The 2020 Longmeadow Open Space FINAL DRAFT Plan is available here for public viewing. The Open Space and Recreation Plan (OSRP) was developed with assistance from the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission. 

The OSRP plan not only identifies town goals for open space and recreation  but provides statistical data about our open space and was updated to identify and meet the current and future needs of Longmeadow’s residents.                                                                                We would like to thank the community of Longmeadow for your participation in this process.  Your feedback made for a thoughtful and inclusive document. 
We would also like to thank the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission (PVPC) and especially Emily Slotnick, for their hard work and dedication to this process and the final plan preparation.
Last, we would like to thank the OSRP committee for their dedication to this 13 month process.  Your hours of meeting, planning and participating made this working document come to life.

Greenwood Children's Center

We are deeply saddened to be unable to offer Infant through PreK Child Care during this time, and will miss our families and staff so very much. As we navigate the ever-changing guidance and regulations for safe operation of programs, we appreciate your patience while we explore the possibility of offering limited School Age Child Care later on this year.
